“Personal Data” is any data that identifies you. We will deal with your Personal Data in compliance with the current UK data protection legislation. Please note this applies only to AM Dietetics and not to other companies’ or organisations’ websites to which we link.

We may collect Personal Data about your usage of the AM Dietetics website in order to better tailor our site to meet your needs. However, the data will only be disclosed on an anonymous and aggregated basis, not in a way in which you will be identified.

•further clinical information in relation to reports from other health professionals

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

•Professional record keeping of client information.
•Sharing information with relevant health professionals.
•We may use the information to improve our products and services.
•We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
•From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and standard operating procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Controlling your personal information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
•whenever you are asked to fill in a consent form, look for the box that you can tick to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes.
•if you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at anne@amdietetics.com

How you can withdraw and request to be deleted from our files

If you any queries jn relation to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or do not wish to make use of your personal information in this way, please contact us at anne@amdietetics.com. You have the right to withdraw consent.

Cookies

Some of our pages make use of “cookies”. A cookie is a small text file which is placed on your hard disk. Cookies contain information about you and your chosen preferences. For example, data you have previously entered into forms may be stored to help you fill out these forms quicker on subsequent visits.

Only the information that you provide or the choices you make during your visit can be stored in a cookie. For example, the AM Dietetics website cannot determine your e-mail address unless you enter it into a form. Permitting the creation of cookies does not give access to the rest of your computer.
