This week has gone by so quickly! I have managed to catch up with some people and to complete my weekly volunteer role, (only about 4 hrs a week but it’s something), and also managed to complete a good amount of work!
I had been looking forward to a meeting as part of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) preceptorship programme steering committee but it was called off due to cancellations from other members. Don’t worry, this has been rescheduled. I am advocating for Dietitians who don’t go down the traditional route of NHS employment in their first few years. NHS Dietitians are amazing and really well supported and we just want to make sure everyone has the same level of support; especially as our workforce changes and expands.
This week
✅Was booked to speak at the 11th Pelvic Floor Society Conference/Annual Meeting, Plymouth in November.
✅Writing some copy for a website (NHS funded)
✅Started to write 2 new articles (topics to be revealed- will mention next week, I just can’t say until they are published)
✅Started an e-book – this is on the management of a common condition. I have been asked about this so much, I thought I’d write an ebook
✅Booked myself in to write three more articles for NHD magazine ( diet and menopause, IVF, fertility and Diet and Diet and Oral/Dental health)
✅Completed the review of the low FODMAP recipes for the lovely Hila at https://bellypro.co.il/anne-write/ You can read the recipes here (if you can read Hebrew)
✅Designed a nice little autumn fruit loaf (with flaxseed, apple, walnuts and carrot)
✅Wrote a blog on Vitamin D and supplementation
✅Gained some new recruits for a supplement study
✅Worked with some of my individual clients in the clinic (IBS and Fibromyalgia clients).
Didn’t win the Euromillions
I would love to know what topics you might like in an e book…. Thanks xx
